Poll location security, training reimbursements, May 7 ballot layouts and voter information were among the topics covered Monday during the regular meeting of the Logan County Board of Elections.
After much discussion between the board and Riverside Local Schools officials, the DeGraff polling post at the school will be moved into the elementary gymnasium with a law enforcement presence, provided by the election board. Voters will enter and exit through that gym’s exterior door.
Director Diana Gamble said as many as six voters may be challenged on their residency when they get to the polls after the board discovered reporting inaccuracies. Those voters may opt to vote by provisional ballot, which the board may then challenge with a hearing.
