Riverside Elementary School teacher Kellea Wilkinson presented information at the Tuesday evening board of education meeting about the implementation of a unique grant that encourages health and fitness among students during the school day.
Ms. Wilkinson and Amy McDaniel, physical education teacher, applied for and received a $4,500 Fuel Up to Play 60 grant this year that is helping to fund a variety of activities for elementary students.
