Bellefontaine attorney Howard A. Traul II has been re-appointed by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Maureen O’Connor to the Board of Commissioners of the Supreme Court Clients’ Security Fund for a second three-year term through Dec. 31, 2015.
The fund, created in 1985, uses registration fees from licensed attorneys to reimburse people who are victims of attorney theft. In 25 years, the fund has distributed over $15 million.
Mr. Traul is a partner at Thompson, Dunlap & Heydinger, Ltd. and functions as Bellefontaine Law Director. He has previously served the Ohio Bar as president of the Ohio Municipal Attorneys Association in 2004 and 2005.
