Man charged with rape

Darrel Davis, 30, of Bellefontaine, was arrested Wednesday for rape.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were contacted Sunday by the mother of a girl under the age of 13 and told of possible sex abuse.

The suspect denies he molested the girl.
