Sheriff’s dispatchers received a 911 call at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday from Douglas J. Wolaver’s cell phone but no one was on the line. They traced the location to a residence in the 500 block of Miami River Road, Sidney.
When deputies arrived, they found a window forced open and began searching the residence. They heard the low battery beep of a cell phone and found Mr. Wolaver, 40, hiding inside the residence.
He was charged with a fifth degree felony count of breaking and entering.
