Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a report about 1:20 a.m. from a resident at 4328 Township Road 180, Zanesfield, who advised that a female subject had just knocked at the door and she appeared to be intoxicated.
When deputies responded to that area, they discovered a van that was stuck in a ditch near the intersection of County Road 10 and T.R. 180.
The woman reportedly had gone to the residence to try to receive assistance with her vehicle.
She was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail, where she refused to take a blood alcohol content test.
Deputies note that Ms. Powell has three prior OVI convictions.
