In a few short months, Northeastern Elementary School will close its doors at 600 E. Brown Ave., and not just for summer vacation.
Students at this school, along with pupils who attend Southeastern Elementary School, will move this fall into the Bellefontaine City School District’s new elementary building that is currently under construction along Ludlow Road.
While the building could be used for other purposes in the community, no longer will the facility be inhabited with the sights and sounds of students learning new concepts in their classrooms, singing in harmony in music class or painting a portrait in art class.
