The Bellefontaine Armory hasn’t been this busy in years.

The local depot is functioning as headquarters these days for administration of a federal grant that will help clean up debris left over from storm damage caused between June 29 and July 2.
Alan Hale, director of the Logan County Solid Waste Management District, told a meeting of the Keeping Logan County Beautiful Committee on Friday the armory is “home base” for items like dump trucks and wood chippers that will be used to clear downed trees.
