Several county and area schools have issued delays for Tuesday because of the extremely cold weather conditions.
Two-hour delays: Benjamin Logan, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Riverside, Ridgmont, Graham, Upper Scioto Valley, Waynefield-Goshen, Bellefontaine, Indian Lake, Mac-A-Cheek Learing Center
Additionally, a wind chill advisory is now in effect for the area until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
A wind chill advisory is issued when strong wind combines with cold temperatures to create dangerously cold conditions for exposed skin. With wind gusts up to 25 mph, temperatures will feel like 10 to 15 degrees below zero for a period of several hours. Dress warmly and make sure all exposed skin is covered if you have to be outdoors.
Tuesday's high temperature is expected to be in the low teens.
