Driver cited, vehicle towed

Officers of the Washington Township Police Department cited Kelly L. Stover, 29, of 312 N. Detroit St., Bellefontaine, Friday for driving without a license after an off-duty Logan County Sheriff's deputy spotted him leaving the Huntsville Marathon behind the wheel of an SUV around noon.

The deputy followed the vehicle from the gas station and on to U.S. Route 33 where township police picked up the pursuit at Township Road 94. A traffic stop was initiated at the McDonald’s restaurant in Russells Point, where he was cited for no operator’s license.

His passengers, his sister, Kristen Fulkerson, and his mother and owner of the vehicle, Tracy Fulkerson, neither one had an operator’s license and the vehicle was towed from the stop.
