Woman issued summons for child endangering

Carolyn Salyers, 22, of 11539 Tecumseh Path, Chippewa, Lakeview, was issued summonses for child endangering and possession of marijuana Wednesday.

Her boyfriend’s grandmother, Dora Loggains, with whom Ms. Salyers resides, reported concerns about Ms. Salyers possibly using drugs.

Ms. Salyers admitted to deputies that she had smoked marijuana in front of her 1-year-old child. Deputies also uncovered several prescription drugs in Ms. Salyers’ possession that were not prescribed to her.

She was issued the summonses.
