Man arrested for disorderly conduct on New Year’s Eve

Wesley Bickle, 50, of 3796 Harrison Road, Bellefontaine, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident Monday evening.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of county roads 130 and 91 about 9:15 p.m. in reference to a subject walking in the roadway.

A Washington Township Officer stopped to assist the subject, who was later identified as Mr. Bickle.

When deputies arrived on the scene, the defendant reported that he was on his way to Bellefontaine to assault someone.

Deputies noted that Mr. Bickle showed obvious signs of intoxication. As a result of his comments and level of intoxication, he was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
