The Hi-Point See-Saws square dance club will begin offering free lessons in January from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays at the Bellefontaine Masonic Center, 600 N. Main St.

The lessons will continue through the spring.
After completing lessons, individuals can attend dances hosted throughout the region.
The Hi-Point See-Saws were founded in 1960 and are based in Bellefontaine, with members living throughout the area.
Members tout square dancing as a way for area individuals to get fit in the New Year, along with a number of other benefits:
• Physically, square dancing may lower the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
