Both drivers and two passengers were injured in a 9:30 a.m. crash Friday, but none seriously, according to officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department
Brandon Lee, 25, his wife, Carmen, 25, and Payton Harris, 5, all of West Mansfield, were treated at Mary Rutan Hospital. Mr. Lee was taken by a private vehicle while Mrs. Lee and the child were transported by a Bellefontaine squad.
Francis Amegashitsi, 32, of Columbus, sustained a busted lip but was not transported for treatment.
He was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
He was northbound and tried to enter the Fontaine Plaza shopping center, 1780 S. Main St., but drove into the path of Mr. Lee’s southbound car.
Damage was heavy to the cars.
