Staff of Universal Home Health & Hospice Care Inc., 701 S. Main St., has been busy this holiday season, not only taking care of their home health and hospice patients, but helping out in the communities that they serve.
Universal Home Health and Hospice employees raised $250 bidding on this antique rocking chair donated by Melanie Gossard. Funds were used to help provide Christmas to a family in the area. (PHOTO SUBMITTED)
First, several employees attended a Community Memorial Service Nov. 13 in memory of patients who passed away in the past year. The annual service, held this year at First Presbyterian Church, 117 N. Main St., was guided by area funeral directors and members of Universal Home Health & Hospice Care.
“As part of the local community,” said Anne Shelley, CEO of Universal Home Health and Hospice, “we have adopted the philosophy that we will do well by doing good.
