Hardin County Sheriff's Deputy Scott Willoby moves some of the nearly 700 items seized from a recent recovery north of Ridgeway by alleged thieves. Three men, Aaron Sells, Michael Moore and Jasin Rorabaugh, face prosecution in the thefts. So many claims for the stolen property have come to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 1025 S. Main St., Kenton, said Detective Mike Conley, that the public will be allowed to search through the mountain of items in hopes of reclaiming their pieces stolen. Residents from the Mount Victory/Ridgeway area will be invited to view the property from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 12. Persons must be able to prove they had items stolen and then identify those items to officers, said Conley. Similar dates will be set later for persons who were alleged victims from other areas of Hardin, Marion, Union and Logan counties, said Conley. “This was the most number of items we have ever taken with one search warrant,” he said.
