Student-led service organization formed
West Liberty-Salem school board members at a regular meeting Tuesday approved a resolution to join a statewide school boards legal assistance group, but failed to pass another measure to join a separate public education interest bloc.
Board members authorized membership in the Ohio School Boards Legal Assistance Fund at an annual cost of $250.
The purpose of the OSBA legal assistance fund is to, “obtain favorable judicial decisions,” for boards of education, according to the resolution.
