ILMS student arrested after threat

Washington Township Police took a 13-year-old seventh-grade female into custody Monday after being called to Indian Lake Middle School regarding a threat made against an eighth-grade female.

The victim and her parents reported ongoing unwanted correspondences received from the first girl, saying the seventh-grader had done so far as to create a fictitious Facebook page to continue communicating with the victim.

Repeated attempts to solve the issue resulted in the first girl threatening to kill the other.

The 13-year-old was charged with delinquency menacing and taken to the Logan County Detention Center.
