Mad River Mountain’s Snow Jam 2 Benefit Sandy Hook will benefit the victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting that occurred Friday in Connecticut.

A Rail Jam outside on snow begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, with the Scotty McCarron Duo taking the stage inside the Loft, according to the ski resort's Website. Officials look to be back up and making snow Thursday night through the weekend.

“We can't say exactly when we will be open but hope to have some terrain for all abilities very soon.” Extended office hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through the event will allow extra time to purchase a Mad Money Card or grab a Book of Five.

Special purchase package information is available at (800) 2331-7669. For more on the event, visit http://www.skimadriver.com/.
