Hundreds benefit from Winter Warm Up

For many families that may otherwise do without this Christmas, the Winter Warm Up event at Bellefontaine First Friends Church, 808 W. Columbus Ave., is an opportunity to upgrade winter coats or just get a hot meal.

For Reba Blogger and her great-granddaughter Emily Fissell, it was an opportunity to spend Saturday afternoon browsing clothes and eating snacks.
“This is such a nice event they put on every year,” Ms. Blogger said. “I’m sure it takes a lot of time to put together, and the clean up, that’s what I would dread.”
