Officials with the Logan County Health District announced at Wednesday afternoon’s board of health meeting that Logan County Home Health has received its second HomeCare Elite rating, a compilation of the top 500 home health agencies in the country.
Winners are ranked by an analysis of measures in five domains of performance: quality of care, quality improvement, patient experience, process measure implementation and financial performance.
“I’m very proud of all of them,” Nursing Director Kay Schroer said of her staff members in the home health division. “They work very hard and do a wonderful job.”
Logan County Home Health, operated by the LCHD, also was named a HomeCare Elite agency in 2010.
