2-vehicle crash results in injuries

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on County Road 18 at Township Road 200.

Cody Plikington, 19, of Lakeview, was operating one of the vehicles in the crash, while the other vehicle was driven by Ronald Courter II, 40, of Quincy.

Several individuals were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries. Names of the individuals were not immediately available.

Bellefontaine, Riverside and Macochee squads responded to the scene, along with personnel from the Bellefontaine and West Liberty fire departments.

The accident remains under investigation, and further details about what occurred in the crash also were not immediately available.
