URBANA — An autopsy has determined a heart condition was the cause of death of Dale Snyder, 53, of Urbana, who was found dead in Monument Square early Saturday morning.
Urbana Police Chief Matt Lingrell said Snyder had an enlarged heart and fluid in his lungs because of a medical condition. He said Snyder’s body was found at rest against a wall on the northwest corner of Monument Square. There were no signs of foul play.
Lingrell said Snyder had not dialed 911 to report distress. Authorities are still waiting on toxicology results, which could take weeks to finalize.
