Huntsville man charged with sexual offense involving female child

A Huntsville area man was charged Monday with gross sexual imposition involving a victim under the age of 13, a second-degree felony, following an investigation that began over the weekend.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chad Douglas Brown, 36, of 6399 Lima St., about 5 p.m. Monday at his residence.

He is currently in custody at the Logan County Jail.

The family of the female victim contacted the sheriff’s office Saturday morning regarding sexual abuse allegations. An investigation then ensued with the assistance of Logan County Children’s Services caseworkers.{jcomments off}
