Man injured in hunting accident

Dispatchers with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 6:16 p.m. Sunday that a 40-year-old man had fallen from a tree stand in the area of 3299 State Route 540.

Personnel with Tri-Valley Fire and EMS and Bellefontaine Fire and EMS responded to the area.

The man reportedly was transported by medical helicopter to an area hospital.
