Just because Bellefontaine High School band director Joe Antram is retiring at the end of the year, doesn’t mean his time educating young people is over.
The longtime music teacher concedes that even though he’s looking forward to “slowing down,” he’ll miss teaching music to students.
He’ll just have to find other ways to interact with his pupils.
“I won’t be able to go from going 110 mph all the time to doing nothing,” he said Thursday from his office adjacent to the music room. “I really will miss the time with my high school students, but I’ll find other ways to stay involved.”
