Huntsville Village Council suspended the three reading rule Tuesday night and declared an emergency for the immediate passage of a resolution authorizing the clerk and mayor to arrange enforcement of the Residential Building Code of Ohio.
Mayor William Jenkins said during the regular meeting the village already follows the Ohio building codes, but deems it necessary to enforce building and construction standards within the village.
Guest Mike Reffitt of the Logan County Building Authority said that applications, fees and other information can be obtained on their Web site, www.co.logan.oh.us/building/index.html, along with information about when a permit is required.
