Pursuant to Directive w2012 from Secretary of State John Husted, the Logan County Board of Elections has expanded its in-person absentee voting hours to include the three days immediately preceding the Nov. 6 Presidential Election.
In addition to the hours previously announced from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 22-26 and Oct. 29-Nov. 1; and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 2, the office will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5.
Absentee voter ballots for the Nov. 6 General Election are available at the election board office, 225 S. Main St., or call 599-7255 to request an application to vote by mail.
The deadline for absentee voter applications to be received by mail is noon Nov. 3. Ballots must be returned to the board office by 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 to be counted.
