Driver identified in T.R. 33 rollover crash

Joshua Shepard, 35, of Bellefontaine, was transported by CareFlight helicopter for incapacitating injuries sustained in a previously reported rollover crash Sunday morning on Township Road 33 near Township Road 207.

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report that Mr. Shepard was operating a northbound car about 4:25 a.m. that drove off the east side of the roadway. The driver  overcorrected and then traveled off the west side of the roadway and overturned several times.

Mr. Shepard reportedly was not wearing his seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.

Driver cited

Harry Bray, 57, of East Liberty, was cited for a stop sign violation following a one-vehicle crash about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday at county roads 5 and 1.

He reportedly was operating a westbound pickup on C.R. 5 when he failed to stop at the stop sign at C.R. 1 and traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence and a tree.

No injuries were reported.
