The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center FFA chapter hosted the Logan County Agricultural Education Administrators Appreciation Dinner on Wednesday.
Among the honorees at the ag education appreciation dinner Wednesday were, seated, from left: Miriam Baier, editor of the Bellefontaine Examiner; and Chad Wilkinson, representing WPKO/WBLL owner Lou Vito. Benjamin Logan FFA Reporter and District 6 Reporter Katelyn Ackley spoke about the importance of agriculture for future generations and read an article in which a pizza was used as an analogy for the FFA chapters and members and their school administrators.
Community support awards were presented to Miriam Baier, editor of the Bellefontaine Examiner, and to Lou Vito, owner of WPKO/WBLL radio in Bellefontaine, for excellent news coverage and representation and support of agricultural programs in Logan County.
School guests were introduced by the respective FFA chapter representative presidents: Tyler Myers, Ben Logan; Angie Burton, Indian Lake; Sierra McGranahan, Hi-Point; and James Walters, Riverside.
Others assisting in the program included Audrey Foster, president, Ohio Hi-Point FFA; Shelby Boyer of Indian Lake; Amanda Ray, Hi-Point treasurer; Brandi Stedry, Hi-Point; and Jessica Skidmore and Taylor Jordan.
