Legislative work has slowed down at Ohio’s Statehouse as lawmakers have been in recess and busy working on their campaigns, said Keith Lake, managing director of legislative affairs at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
But there has been plenty of pro-business activity in the 18 months prior to the recess, he said at Tuesday’s legislative breakfast for the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce at Green Hills Retirement Community.
The moves help make Ohio tops in the nation for job creation and lowered its unemployment below the national average.
