A decision about whether or not to grant work release to a man who struck and killed an Amish school teacher with his pickup truck was delayed Wednesday by Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark S. O’Connor.
Chad Pulfer, 37, of Lakeview, was sentenced Sept. 5 to three months in the Logan
County Jail, two years’ community control, a five-year driver’s license suspension, fines and court costs for a first-degree misdemeanor charge of vehicular homicide.
Mr. Pulfer’s westbound pickup truck struck and killed 40-year-old Martha Miller on County Road 101 in December.
