FFA members in the animal science class took in their own animals, including horses, sheep, goats, pigs, a pot belly pig, dairy cattle, beef cattle, chickens and rabbits, and did activities with each grade level in the school district.
Local farmers and businesses took in equipment, including Parrott Implement, Ed Wenger, Dave and Kathy Mobley, the Cronkleton Family, Tim Lyden, the Boysel Family, ACK-LEE Registered Holsteins, Bob Reams and Jamie Griffin and Lazy H Ranch. The organization estimated the equipment totaled more than a million dollars.
The natural resources class shared information and did demonstrations with students and talked about deer calls and recycling, offering different aspects of agriculture.
Students also created a farm safety display.
