One of two teens who attacked Logan County Juvenile Detention Center correction officers as part of a March 6 escape was bound over to the adult court system, while the other will remain in the juvenile system.

Logan County Family Court Judge Michael L. Brady ruled Tuesday to keep jurisdiction over Danny Ellis, 15, while granting a Logan County Prosecutor’s motion to move Caleb Jacobs, 18, into the adult system.
Both Danny and Mr. Jacobs are charged with felonious assault on a peace officer, a first-degree felony; assault, a fifth-degree felony; and escape, a third-degree felony.
