Chief reveals details in Brown homicide

Press conference transcript

Bellefontaine Police Chief Brad Kunze revealed in a 2 p.m. Friday press conference at the Bellefontaine City Council chambers that Tiffany Brown’s partially-clad body was found early Thursday morning underneath a pile of wood in the basement of Samuel Littleton II’s 729 Eastern Ave. home.

According to Chief Kunze, Ms. Brown sustained multiple stab wounds.

Mr. Littleton, the boyfriend of Ms. Brown’s mother, Deborah Neeley, remains a person of interest in the ongoing Brown homicide investigation.

He also is sought in connection with efforts to locate Richard and Gladis Russell, of County Road 91, who along with the couple’s 2004 green Mercury Grand Marquis, have not been seen since Wednesday. The license plate number of PDG13E.

Logan County Chief Deputy Dodds says a state trooper spotted the vehicle during a routine check at a rest area in Butler County at 11:37 p.m. Wednesday night. The vehicle was parked and the trooper noticed neither Mr. Littleton nor the Russells.

Mr. Littleton, 37, is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Mr. Russell is 84 and Mrs. Russell is 85-years-old.
