Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Earl Ramsey

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Earl Ramsey of Ridgeway will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Saturday.

Mr. Ramsey and the former Judy Jacobs were united Sept. 4, 1960, by the Rev. Clyde Backus at Ridgeway United Methodist Church.

He is a farmer and she is a homemaker.

They are the parents of Kenneth Ramsey of Galloway, Kathy (Kent) Jones of West Mansfield, Keith (Bridget) Ramsey of Ridgeway and Karen (Mike) Huisman of Marysville. Grandchildren include Amanda (Joe) Simpson of Huber Heights, Colby (Sarah) Ramsey of Mt. Victory, Jason Ramsey, Hailey Bechtel and Shelby Ramsey, all of Ridgeway, Kyle (Jennifer) Jones of Richwood, Kurtis and Kasey Jones, both of West Mansfield, Kirk Ramsey of Kenton and Jacob Huisman of Marysville. Great-grandchildren Nathan and Will Jones and Kane Ramsey complete their family.

Mr. and Mrs. Skip Conley, 911 S. Main St., DeGraff, recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with an outdoor reception with family and friends at Mt. Tabor Church of God.

Mr. Conley and the former Ellen Everhart were married Sept. 4, 1980, by Elder Samuel McConehea in Carmichael, Calif.

He is a full-time student at Edison State Community College and she is an executive homemaker.

They are the parents of Jason (Jennifer) Conley, stationed with the U.S. Army in El Paso, Texas, and Shawn Matthew Conley of DeGraff. A son, Daniel Allan Conley, passed away on the couple’s anniversary in 2000. Two grandchildren, Daniel and Bethany Conley, complete their family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Good

Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Good of Bellefontaine will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a trip to Marietta.

Mr. Good and the former Debra Hart were married Aug. 29, 1970,  by the Rev. Mann at the Lima United Methodist Church.

Their parents are Noah and Clara Good of Elida, and Ina Long and Richard Hart of Lima.

He is the owner of Good’s Heating and Cooling and is retired from Air National Guard of Springfield. She worked in food service for 15 years and is now a homemaker.

They are the parents of Nathaniel (Nina) Good of Urbana and Carla Good of Whitehouse. Three grandchildren, Dilyn Good, Danielle Miller and Kayla Good, complete their family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Elliott

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Elliott, 1911 County Road 10, mark their 50th anniversary Saturday, Sept. 4.

Mr. Elliott and the former Marilyn Brown were married Sept. 4, 1960, by the Revs. Frederick Mueller and Phillip Tammaru at the New Salem Lutheran Church, Zanesfield.

He retired from Mary Rutan Hospital and she retired from Costin Family Practice.

They are the parents of Scott Elliott of Wilmington and Erika Coleman of Bellefontaine, and have four grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate at a private gathering with family and have planned a trip for a later date.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wortman

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wortman of Bellefontaine recently celebrated 60 years of marriage with family and friends.

Mr. Wortman and the former Marilyn Fahle were married Aug. 12, 1950, by Dr. Edwin Dickey.

He is retired from the Sprint Co. and she retired from Hill & Hamilton Insurance Agency.

They are the parents of Rand (Gay) Wortman of Richland, Wash., Alan Wortman of Sidney, Tammie (David) Maroon of West Chester and Stacie (Mike) Howsman of Bellefontaine. Alan’s twin, Alana Dee Wortman, is deceased. Eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren complete their family.
