Riverside boys suffer first league loss to Fairbanks Print E-mail

Riverside’s boys basketball team suffered its first Northwest Central Conference loss of the season to visiting Fairbanks on Friday.

The Panthers applied the pressure early and never looked back in a 64-54 NWCC victory.

The Pirates fall to 5-1 in the NWCC and 7-10 overall. The Panthers are now 3-3 in the NWCC and 6-9 overall.

Riverside is now in a first-place tie with Lima Temple Christian. Both teams are 5-1.
