The Pirates came away with a 71-69 victory to stay perfect at 5-0 in the NWCC. They are 7-8 overall.

LTC drops into second in the league with a 4-1 mark. The Pioneers are now 8-6 overall.

After leading 28-12 in the first quarter, the Pirates were outscored 57-43 over the next three quarters.

“We came out strong in the first quarter with hot shooting and strong defense,” said RHS head coach Nathan Millice. “We knew LTC would come back strong against us, but we made some good decisions and were able to get the win.

“It was a great team effort on both ends of the floor and it was a big league win for us. It was a fantastic game.”
