Paige Guenther poured in 31 points and pulled down 20 rebounds to help Ridgemont beat host Village Academy 55-29 on Tuesday in a non-league girls basketball game.

The Gophers are now 4-9 on the season.

Ridgemont got off to a fast start and led 21-7 after the first quarter. The Gophers went on to lead 33-11 at halftime.

Malana Ledley and Haley Miller each added six points for the Gophers.

Ridgemont travels to Marion Catholic on Thursday for a Northwest Central Conference game.
