An offense firing on all cylinders, an aggressive defense and strong bench play resulted in Indian Lake’s girls basketball team overpowering Waynesfield-Goshen on Monday.

The Lakers (5-1) had five players score in double figures en route to a 76-34 non-league win over the Tigers.

Indian Lake’s defense limited the Tigers to just 10 field goals.

“This was the most complete game of the year for us,” said Indian Lake head coach Mike Pequignot. “On offense we had a nice inside-outside game and on defense we were the most consistent we’ve been all year.

“We did a good job of making our shots from the perimeter. That really opened up the inside game.”
