Bellefontaine Middle School eighth-grader, Emelee Earick releases a plate full of whip cream Friday afternoon aimed at Co-Principal Vinnie Spirco during the school’s mini Relay for Life. Students who donated $2 to the relay received a chance to pie their principal in the face. There also was cornhole, relay races, ice melting contests and other activities throughout the event. Indian Lake Middle School seventh-graders release purple and pink balloons Friday afternoon in honor of cancer awareness during the fourth annual Relay for Life. Students raised $2,500 last year, and were attempting to top that amount this year through T-shirt sales, paper chain purchases, and balloon sales. Students enjoyed cornhole, a super-slide, and ice cream during their afternoon walk times at the mini relay. |
