Western Intermediate School students were served ice cream and sundae toppings by local government officials Tuesday in an annual event in honor of retired school cook, June Bishop who hosted the event during her years at the school. Students are served ice cream and their names entered in a raffle for a chance to win this year’s prize of a skateboard donated by Mrs. Bishop. Serving up the treat are, from the right, Logan County Sheriff Andy Smith, Bellefontaine Fire Chief J.P. Schultz, Bellefontaine Fire Capt.
