Visiting Lima Perry outscored Ridgemont 15-0 in the second half to pull away for a 21-8 victory Friday in Northwest Central Conference football action.

Ridgemont falls to 1-6 overall and 1-3 in the NWCC, while Perry improves to 3-4, 2-2.

“This was the best football game we’ve played,” said Ridgemont head coach Ernie Simpson. “The kids really played well on offense and defense. I was particularly pleased with the effort we gave on defense tonight.”

Perry outgained Ridgemont 281-90 in total yards. All of the Gophers’ 90 yards came on the ground.
