| Pirates, Gophers take part in NWCC tourney |

Riverside and Ridgemont competed in the Northwest Central Conference tournament Wednesday at Prairie View Golf Club near Waynesfield.
It was a tight race for the NWCC championship. Fairbanks emerged in first with a 322, while host Waynesfield-Goshen fired a 325 for second and Upper Scioto Valley carded 326 for third. Lima Perry was fourth with a 352, the Pirates finished with a 360 to take fifth and the Gophers were sixth with a 380. Kyle Hurley led Riverside with a team-low 79 and Brandon Whitehead fired an 82. Also for RHS, Grant Miller shot 99, Kyle Millice had 100, Zac Courter had a 108 and Nathan Guthrie added a 110. Mason Caldwell paced Ridgemont with an 84. Also for the Gophers, Brandon Jolliff carded an 86, Collin Ramge had 100 and Gabe Galo shot a 110. USV’s Wes Krummery was the tournament medalist.
