Brandon Denochick, left, of Morrisdale, Pa., is shown with the large buck he harvested last week at Briarwood Sportsman Club. As was previously documented in an Examiner feature story, Denochick is battling bone cancer. Through the United Special Forces Alliance, Denochick was presented with a special deer hunt at Briarwood in October. However, he was not able to harvest a deer at that time.
Briarwood owner Chris Daniels arranged for Denochick to return to the local hunting and fishing club last week. Not only did Brandon get a buck this time, his eight-year-old brother Tyler, right, also harvested a buck. Looking on in the picture is their father Greg.
