The Raiders were coming off their fifth consecutive Central Buckeye Conference Mad River championship and that momentum helped fuel them to a second-place finish to begin the postseason.
Carroll ran away with the boys team title with 152.5 points and the Raiders were in second with 69 points. Kenton Ridge was close behind in third with 65 points, Brookville was fourth with 50 points and Indian Lake gave a strong fifth-place effort with 45 points.
“I was very happy for the guys to be able to finish with a runner-up trophy,” said Ben Logan boys head coach Kevin Butler. “We knew going into the meet that was probably going to be the highest we could finish. Dayton Carroll just had too much fire power for us to be able to hang with them.
