WATCH Communications will provide television, Internet and phone services to Bellefontaine homes beginning in June under an agreement announced Thursday between WATCH and NetGain Information Systems Co.
“We are thrilled to select WATCH as our residential and TV service partner, bringing more value to Logan County — and at a pivotal time in video options,” said NetGain CEO Michael Minnich. “WATCH adds 100 new channels of crystal clear, digital content for residential clients.”
WATCH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benton Ridge Telephone Co. and is the market leader in providing residential television, Internet and voice services to Northwest and West Central Ohio and Eastern Indiana.
“The Bellefontaine market is a natural fit for our services,” explained Ken Williams, CEO of WATCH. “Recent acquisitions have included towers near Bellefontaine, which, when combined with NetGain’s fiber-optic network, make for a powerful infrastructure to deliver Internet, TV and voice services.”
WATCH will initially service the former CT Communication residential clients, adding new residential clients in late summer.
“Our priority is to transition the CT residential clients to our platform and then turn up new clients in neighborhoods where the fiber network is already built. We encourage residents interested in our services to let us know as this helps us determine future areas for build out,” Mr. Williams said.
CT residential clients will receive letters toward the middle of June welcoming them to WATCH Communications and outlining the transition plans. Service questions should be addressed to CT Communications until clients are notified their account has been transitioned.
