Indian Lake school board Monday in a regular meeting signaled its intention to try again this fall for new operating money to fund the district.
Administrators and board members could take action during the June regular meeting to place another levy on the ballot in November.
A levy that would have raised more than $800,000 additional funds for the district was rejected May 6.
School board members spoke at length about the levy Monday, noting the current operating levy expires at the end of the year.
The district will no longer offer high school busing, and have instituted pay-to-participate fees at the middle school and high school levels.
Action taken by the school board included approval of a pair of resignations.
