Ben Logan boys, IL girls claim wins in dual meet

Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake split in a local dual track and field meet Tuesday at Indian Lake High School.

The Raiders won the boys meet 75-62, while the Laker girls edged the Raiders 64-60.

Earning wins for the Raider boys were Cameron Johnson in the 400 (57.0), Wyatt Warren in the 800 (2:17.4), Orin Reames in the 1,600 (5:35.3), Alex Schinker in the shot put (42-6), Mack Horton in the long jump (17-10), Davis Bowers in the pole vault (12-0) and the 800 relay (1:36.1).

First-place finishers for the Laker boys were Bobby Dye in the 110 hurdles (16.3) and the 200 (23.2), Joey Davidson in the 100 (11.5), Hunter Vance in the 300 hurdles (45.2), Gabe Reichert in the 3,200 (12:45), L.J. Henderson in the discus (125-6) and Cole Wurster in the high jump (5-8), while winning relays included the 400 relay (45.4), the 1,600 relay (3:48.8) and the 3,200 relay (9:27).
