The Cardinals improve to 15-6 on the season, while the Pirates fall to 9-12.
Triad led 2-1 after one inning. The Cardinals came up with a four-run third inning to increase their lead to 6-1.
Riverside added a run in the fifth, but it was not nearly enough to catch the Cardinals.
In addition to the big offensive day from Lowe, the Cardinals received contributions from Timmy Marsalis (2-3), Tre McIntyre (2-4), Scottie Instine (2-4, one RBI) and Zach McConnell (2-4).
Dillon Roof went 3-4 with a double and an RBI to lead Riverside.
Instine went the distance on the mound to earn the win for Triad. He scattered eight hits, struck out four and walked five.
